Seminar for arttherapy in an old watermill in Nouvelle Aquitaine, France

12. - 18. Mai 2019

At the edge of the protected nature park Marais Poetvin (a labyrinth of little streams and watercourses called „Venise Verte – Green Venice“) lies the grand old watermill. A magic place that was inhabited and formed by artists for generations. Set in this french idyll we offer you creative relaxation, art and enjoyment for every woman and every man.

The artist and fotographer Benjamin Krebs opens the gates of the old watermill set between Nantes and La Rochelle.

Embeded in the magic of the Mill and inspired through the unspoilt nature you are invited to become the creator of your own creative-artistic world.

Experience the joy of discovering your own abilities, to experiment with those and to expand them.

The protected space of the mill and our professional support are the perfect setting even if you do not have any previous experience with art.

We convey to you the artistic understanding as well as the artits‘ techniques. Cautiously watching your needs we will help you to put your creative project to practice.

You will be guided by the artist MartineA form La Rochelle and the arttherapist Uwe Schorb from Hamburg who will share the joy of their long-standing cooperation.

Our cook will spoil you with culinary delights based on a light french cuisine created with regional products. Relax with fine food, joyful work and exciting experiences within this peaceful french ambience. Can you imagine anything better than this?

The artist’s places

Experience, redesign and play with places used by artists for generations on the mill.

Here you can occupy yourself with space and material in many ways. Dive into this artistic atmosphere and leave your on marks.

Experience how your own personal creation will turn into a fulfilling recuperation.

Local cooking

According to the „french daily rhythm“ our cook will spoil you with a typical breakfast, a balanced lunch buffet and a delicious diner served on a nicely decorated table.

Your accommodation in simple but extraordinary double rooms will contribute to our contemporary community of artists. (Single rooms can be provided on request and at extra charge)
We work in a small and clear group. According to this the number of participants is limited.

Working hours in the atelier

During the workshop artist MartineA from La Rochelle and artherapist Uwe Schorb from Hamburg will be at your service. We speak German, English and French.

During our daily work in the atelier you will be guided individually by experienced artists and therapists with care.

We work with natural materials using artisan techniques to widen your perception.

You don’t have to be a professional artist to enjoy all this. We take you from where you are at your present state of your individual process.
